Andrew D. Smith beloved son
Olean - Andrew Douglas Smith, 43, of 112 W. Connell St, Olean, left us on August 6, 2023 unexpectedly. Born in Olean on October 24, 1979, he was the son of Douglas R. and Joyce M. Scutella Smith. Loving brother to three sisters; Amber Kilmer, Dawn and Elizabeth Smith. Wonderful grandson to the late Joseph and Catherine Scutella, and Leo and Eillen Smith. Andrew also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Andrew graduated from Olean High School, class of 1998. He went on to hold many managerial positions, such as, Factory Card & Party Outlet, Payless Shoe Store, Sebago and Merrel in TN and more. He later went on to become sales representative of the company Control Chief.
Andrew’s faith was important to him, he was a dedicated member of the Voice of The Word Church for years. Andrew, also known as DJ Drewski, had a passion for music, creating his own beats and playing them out for others to hear. Drew was a hard-core Bills fan, he liked watching the games with his dad and going to the games. His favorite food was his mom’s homemade Italian spaghetti and meatballs. What Andrew loved most was his animals, his three cats and dog, Cleo. He posted many selfies with his cats and Cleo went everywhere with him. He loved his “Puppies”.
Anyone who knew Andrew, knew he was a true friend. Always there for you and willing to help. Whether it was a ride, some grocery money, moving or just a listening ear. He was always glad to help his family and friends.
Your vivacious smile will forever be imprinted in our minds. Your laughing spirit will forever live in our hearts. We will always be proud of you, our son.
