Annie Kalinowski, loving partner, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister
Annie Kalinowski, 55, of Cheektowaga, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at ECMC.
Born on January 11, 1969, in Olean, Annie was the beloved daughter of Carol Ann Lockie Kalinowski of Olean and the late Al A. Kalinowski. A graduate of Archbishop Walsh High School, Annie went on to attend the Olean Business Institute. She spent many years working at the Olean Medical Group in the orthopedics department. Later, she moved to Buffalo, where she continued her career at the Jericho Road Health Center.
Annie had a deep love for life, reflected in her devotion to her dog Sally and her joy in reading and collecting books. She was fiercely protective of those she loved, and her warmth and kindness touched many. Known for her sharp sense of humor, Annie could brighten a room with her smile, leaving a lasting impression on all who met her.
Annie is survived by her cherished son, Benjamin Thomas Morgan, and his wife Myranda; her adored grandchildren, Rowyn and Alexis of Allegany; her loving mother, Carol Ann Lockie Kalinowski of Olean; her longtime partner of 17 years, William Davis of Cheektowaga; her siblings, John Paul Kalinowski (Christina) of Angelica and Lauri Stewart (Todd) of Salamanca; and her dear aunt, Rosalie Ann Kalinowski of Salamanca. She is also remembered fondly by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. Annie was preceded in death by her father, Al A. Kalinowski, in 2018.
A memorial service will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11 a.m., at Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State St, Olean. Annie will be laid to rest in Mt. View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to your local SPCA or a charity of your choice.
