Franklinville- Arthur J. Crawford, Sr., of Fish Hill Road, Franklinville, died Tuesday (September 29, 2020) at his home.

Born June 9, 1933 in Batavia, he was the son of the late, Raymond C. and Emma Seamans Crawford. He married the former Natalie Bloye, who survives.

Art enlisted in the United States Army from 1954-1956. He was a supervisor at Bush Industries in Falconer for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping, and watching Nascar as well as watching his sons race dirt stock cars. He also loved to cook and bake. Art was a member of the American Legion Hally- Allen Post 1341 in Sonyea.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons; Barry Crawford of Syracuse, Arthur (Colleen) Crawford, Jr., of Mt. Morris, and Jason (Opal) Crawford of Cattaraugus; one daughter, Victoria (Don) Smith of Franklinville; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Nellie Crawford of Piffard.

He was predeceased by one brother, Charles Crawford and one sister, Charlotte Inglis.

At Art’s request, there will be no services.
