Bradley Cradduck Obituary

“Loving Son, Father, Brother, and Friend”

Portville- Bradley Jay Cradduck, everyone’s “Uncle Brad” of Promised Land Road, passed away Saturday (March 7, 2020) at home with his family by his side.

Born September 30, 1956 in Olean, he was the son of Thomas and Jeanette Sisson Cradduck.

A graduate of Portville Central School, Brad lived in the Daytona Beach area (his 2nd home) for a few years.  He loved the sunsets and enjoyed singing karaoke while living there.  He had a beautiful voice and a real talent for performing Elvis songs, which were his favorite.

Returning to his hometown area, Brad was a longtime member of the St. Stephen’s Club, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, and the Olean Christopher Columbus Lodge. He worked as a carpenter, serving as a yardman at Olean Lumber and Supply, and working for Southern Tier Moving.  Brad was also a very big part of his sister’s business, Eagle Tree Gifts in Portville.  However, his most beloved role was being a caregiver for his Grandma Esther and later for his parents.  You could often find him on his lawnmower as he took great care in keeping the lawnmowed.  Most of all, he loved his family and friends and never missed camping at the family reunions.

He is survived by his mother of Portville; his children, Joshua Cradduck of Syracuse and daughter, Emily Cradduck of Los Angeles, CA; one sister, Sherry (Cliff) Lippert; one brother, James (Julie) Cradduck; and the mother of his children and beloved friend, Peggy Cradduck.

A celebration of Brad’s life will be held on Sunday (March 15, 2020) at 3pm, at the St. Stephen’s Club, 1117 N. Union Street, Olean.

Memorials if desired may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA, 2944 Route 16N, Olean.
