Brian E. Lange, Beloved father, papa, brother, friend, and uncle
Portville- Brian E. Lange of Portville passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, May 16, 2025.
Brian was born in Buffalo on February 19, 1953, the son of the late Harry and Arlene Kelly Lange. He was married to Linda Lange, who predeceased him in 2004.
After graduating from high school, Brian attended college and then joined the United States Coast Guard, serving from 1970 to 1972. After the Coast Guard, he drove bus for Head Start in Olean, and he also painted houses, inside and out.
Brian was a member of the Buffalo American Legion. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandkids. He loved traveling to different parts of NY and PA, also going to Vegas, which he did many times. His many pastimes were fishing, bingo, poker, blackjack, and doing puzzles.
He is survived by his daughter, Valerie (Jacob) Pinkard; his grandchildren, Sadiee, Aubree, Jude, and Jett; 2 siblings, Sheila (Bruno) Lombardo and Kevin Lange; a niece, Sandra (Rob Ellis) Lombardo; and a nephew, Bruno (Kristin) Lombardo.
He was predeceased by his wife, Linda, and his parents, Harry and Arlene.
At this time, there are no services planned for Brian.
