Bruce J. Ouderkirk

Olean-Bruce J. Ouderkirk of 1312 E. State Street, Olean, died Tuesday (December 20, 2022) at Erie County Medical Center, after a brief illness.

Born August 3, 1951, in Olean, he was the son of Ralph and Mildred Ritz Ouderkirk.

Bruce worked with his dad at Witco Chemical Corp in Bradford, PA for many years.  He loved watching football and was an avid Buffalo Bills Fan. He also enjoyed watching Western movies, the song Silent Night, and was an excellent carpenter.

He is survived by; two sons, Michael and Jamie; one daughter, Cassie; his grandchildren; three sisters, Gayle Ouderkirk, Linda Fonseca, and Susan Morris; several nieces and nephews, and his companion and beloved dog, Tiny.

Bruce was predeceased by; eight brothers, Mark, Ronald, Donald, Gary, David, Paul, Richard and Robert.

Family and friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean on Wednesday (December 28, 2022) at 11am for a memorial service.

Memorials, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
