Carole Buckles Obituary

Hinsdale- Carole J. “Judy” Buckles, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away Thursday (January 28, 2021) at the Olean General Hospital.

Born September 3, 1939 in Olean, she was the daughter of Genevieve Glover.

Judy worked as a keyboard specialist for Cattaraugus County for many years. She was an avid Buffalo Bills and Nascar fan. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, camping, boating, playing cards, and bowling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughter, Kacy.

Surviving is; one daughter Lynette (Bill) Ferguson of Hinsdale; one granddaughter, Kacy Ferguson; two step-grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren.

Private funeral services for Judy will be held at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery Olean.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to; Alzheimer’s Association, 6215 Sheridan Dr. #100, Buffalo, NY 14221, HomeCare and Hospice, 1225 W. State Street, Olean, or the Hinsdale Volunteer Fire Department 3832 Main Street, Hinsdale.
