Catherine Davis Obituary
Hinsdale- Catherine A. Davis of Kent Road, Hinsdale, passed away Tuesday (October 5, 2021) in her home.
Born May 16, 1942 in Olean, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Julia Slevinski Kosinski. She married Doug Davis, who predeceased her.
Catherine worked at the former AVX and Olean Tile Plant in Olean, and retired from the Home Depot in Olean.
She was a member of the Pulaski Club and attended the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. she enjoyed her gardens around her home, and especially loved spending time with her family when they came home for the holidays.
Surviving are four children; Mark (Dina) Shaner of Hinsdale, Mike (Lynn) Shaner of Batavia, Doug (Michelle) Davis of Florida, and Christina (Robert) Winfield of Virginia; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Ed Kosinski of Jamestown.
Friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean on Friday from 4-6pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday (October 9, 2021) at 10am at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hinsdale Cemetery, Maplehurst.
