Olean- Cheryl L Martin of 301 N. 15th Street, Olean, passed away Sunday (December 19, 2021) at her home.
Born October 23, 196, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Glenn and Geraldine Joy Cornell. She married Randy Martin, who predeceased her.
She worked for SubCon Industries in Olean. In her free time, she enjoyed listening to Christian music and reading Christian books.
She is survived by; her son, Scott Martin of Olean; three stepsons, Randy Martin, Howard Martin, and William Martin, all of Olean; four siblings, Margaret Liddy Joy of Florida, Bill Cornell of Buffalo, Robert Cornell of Ashford, and Roger Cornell of Olean; and several nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was predeceased by; one sister, Carol Ballistrea, Glenn Cornell, Jr., and Gary Cornell.
Friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean on Thursday (December 23, 2021) from 11am-noon. Funeral services will begin at noon, with Rev. Bruce Levine, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Allegany Cemetery.
