Courtlyn Bullock Catalano

Allegany- On June 11, 2023, Courtlyn Bullock Catalano passed away peacefully.

Courtlyn was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Courtland and Mary Dapper Bullock.  They moved to Angola when she was a teenager where she met and later married Joseph Catalano.  Years later, they moved to Allegany to finish raising their family. 

Courtlyn is predeceased by her husband, Joseph.  She is survived by their children Joe (Claudia), Jeff (Leslie), Lisa (Rick Prenatt), Stephen (Shawn), grandchildren, Adja, Miles, Courtney, Christopher, Connor, Gavin, Brecken, and one great-grandson, Melo. 

Courtlyn enjoyed sewing and crafting and was an exceptional quilter. She was an active member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Olean, where she was often found volunteering. 

A memorial will be held on July 18, 2023, at 11 am at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean.  Rev. Kim Rossi, pastor of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church will be the officiate.
