FRIENDSHIP --- Dale P. Collins, of Friendship, passed away Tuesday (November 21, 2023) at home unexpectedly.

Born September 17, 1956, in Cuba, he was the son of the late, Clair & Shirley Worzel Collins.

Dale, served in the US Army from 1979 to 1982. He earned his electrician’s certification and worked independently in the local area for private residences and businesses. Later, he went to work for and retired from Kohl’s.

In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, camping and going to the races. His favorite football team was the San Francisco 49ers.

Surviving is a daughter, Alexis Brown of Florida; a brother, David Collins of West Virginia; a sister, Claire (Cliff) Frazier of Olean; three aunts, one uncle and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; a sister, Vicki Turock; and a nephew, Billy Burton.

A memorial service is planned for a date in May 2024, at a time and place to be announced. Burial will be in the Veteran’s section of Mt. View Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
