Dale A. Isenberg

Olean- Dale A. Isenberg, 73, of Olean, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at The Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, after a long illness, with his loving children and grandson by his side.

Born in Philipsburg, PA., on November 29, 1952, the son of Russell Isenberg and Jennie Adair. On February 24, 1979, in Olean, he married the former Donna L. Rider, who predeceased him on August. 20, 2000.

Dale’s love was driving bus, both school and coach. He worked for many companies, including Laidlaw, Blue Bird Coach, and Coach USA.

Dale is survived by his daughter, Amy Isenberg (Anthony), his son, Matthew Isenberg; his grandson, Ryder Isenberg, who was his pride and joy; two sisters, Ann of Maryland and Rose of Jamestown, and a brother, Bill (Char) of Olean; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving wife, Donna; his parents, Russell and Jennie; his in-laws, Phyllis and Donald (Tiny) Rider; and other family members and friends.

Family will receive friends on December 13, 2025, from 1 pm to 2 pm, with a memorial service to start at 2 pm, at The Olean First Presbyterian Church, 212 Laurens St., Olean, with a luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, a college fund has been set up in his grandson’s name at Woodforest National Bank, 1869 Plaza Dr., Olean, NY 14760. Please make checks payable to Ryder Isenberg.
