David Brockel Obituary

Olean- David A. Brockel, of 447 E. Spring Street, passed away Saturday (February 19, 2022) at the Olean General Hospital, after a long illness.

Born October 5, 1959 in Olean, he was the son of Arnold A. and Evelyn D. Fisk. On June 6, 1979, he married Kathryn Skiver, who survives.

David worked for many companies in the area. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and collecting guns. He also loved all his dogs he had over the years.

Besides his wife, David is survived by; one son Tony R. (Staci Tarr) Brockel of Olean; his grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Vohn Austin of Delaware; and two best friends, David M. Crum and Robert White.

He was predeceased by; his parents; one brother, Richard A. Brockel; and one sister, Laura A. Austin.

At David’s request, there will be no services.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Olean City Fire Department, 542 N. Union Street, Olean.
