David A. Coletti, Sr.

Portville- David A. Coletti, Sr., of Portville, passed away Monday (August 29, 2022) at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo.

Born October 14, 1939, in Olean, he was the son of the late, Russell and Norma McBryar Coletti.  On September 4, 1976, he married the former Sandra Grom, who survives.

David attended Portville Central School and then enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1957-1961.  He and his wife worked across the country for Cardinal Development as a mini storage management team for many years. He enjoyed hunting, logging, and commercial fishing.  He loved the Ocean and in his free time, David could be found building boats.

Besides his wife, David is survived by; two sons, Anthony Coletti and Russell Coletti; his brother, Norman (Rae) Coletti of St. Augustine, FL., his sister, Constance Coletti of Olean; and one brother-in-law, William Perry.

He was predeceased by; one sister, Ora-Jean Perry and a stepson, James Lee Cobado.

Friends are invited to a memorial service on Sunday September 11, 2022, at 2pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Portville, 19 N. Main Street, Portville. Rev. Marilyn Hale will officiate.  Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
