Donna L. Holly, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother

Hinsdale- Donna L. Holly of Hinsdale, passed away at Olean General Hospital Wednesday (January 29, 2025) after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Olean on December 26, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Delores Stayer Kemp. On October 7, 1972, in St. Mary’s Church, she married the love of her life, Dennis Holly, who survives.

Donna graduated from Olean High School. She enjoyed crocheting and made numerous blankets for family members. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Making Christmas cookies with the grands, was always a good time. She and Dennis would go for rides in their beloved 55 Chevy truck, lovingly called the ice cream truck.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; her children, Ron (Karen) Holly, Katie (Don) Fox, and Sara (Ryan) Griffin; four grandchildren, Todd Fox, Dylan Fox, Taylor Griffin, and Khloe Griffin; two great-grandchildren, Lyla Fox and Elena Fox; a nephew, Mark (Kelly) Holly; and nieces, Terri (Chris) Shoff and Jamie Bertch.

She was predeceased by her parents, Donald and Delores; a sister, Joyce Bertch, and a brother, Joe Kemp.

Friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean, on Sunday (February 2, 2025) from 2 pm to 5 pm, with a funeral service starting at 5 pm in the funeral home, with Fr. Chris Emminger officiating. A private burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
