Olean - Doris J. Livingston passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Salamanca Rehabilitation and Nursing after a long illness.

Doris was born in Olean on March 26, 1934, daughter of the late James and Dorothy Whalen Jordan. In August of 1952, she married Robert Woodruff, who predeceased her. In December of 1977 Doris married Paul Livingston, who also predeceased her.

Doris was a graduate of Olean High School. She loved listening to music, especially Big Band, Swing, Sinatra and Dean Martin. With her love of music, her favorite job was at Casey’s Music Store in Olean. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching Law & Order.

Doris is survived by her sons, Russell (Kaersten) Woodruff and Jeffrey Livingston; sons-in-law Jim Serafini and Gerry Trentham, and daughter-in-law Gina Livingston; grandchildren Toby, Sara, Karley, and Corey Livingston, and Olivia Woodruff; nieces and nephews; sister, Patricia Cart of Lake Charles, LA, and half-brother Gary Kramer in Newport News, Virginia.

She was predeceased by her two husbands, her sons Douglas and Skip Livingston; and two sisters, Marie Whitham-Landrigan and Joyce Clifford.

A memorial service is planned for a later date. Memorials, if desired, may be made to a local veteran’s agency.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olean.
