Hinsdale- Elizabeth M. Miller of 3383 Pennsylvania Road, passed away on Friday (September 2, 2022) at her home.
Born December 8, 1933, in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Elizabeth Wallwork Bickmire. On June 2, 1951, she married Richard W. Miller, who predeceased her.
Elizabeth worked for Niagara Homemakers for several years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Tonawanda for many years and attended the Maplehurst Baptist Church. She taught Sunday school and was a pioneer woman for the church, she also enjoyed spreading the gospel. In her free time, Elizabeth loved spending time with her family and her cats.
Surviving are four children; Kathleen (Ken Broker) Guarino of Barker, Marjorie Jandrew of Hinsdale, Lori Behm of N. Tonawanda, and Richard Miller of Hinsdale; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Timothy Welch and one sister, Joanne Faber.
Besides her husband, Elizabeth was predeceased by one daughter, Linda Browning.
Family will receive friends at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean on Tuesday (September 13, 2022) from 11am-1pm. Funeral services will begin at 1pm in the funeral home. Rev. Terry Jenks, pastor of the Maplehurst Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Hinsdale Cemetery, Maplehurst.
