Elvira S. DeBeni

Olean- Elvira S. DeBeni, formerly of 312 Front Street, Olean, passed away Thursday (May 20, 2021) at the Cuba Skilled Nursing Facility.

Born April 10, 1922 in Olean, she was the daughter of the late, Tullio and Rosa Zerbini DeBeni.

Elvira was a graduate of Olean High School and Westbrook Academy.  She later attended St. Bonaventure University.  Elvira worked for Alcas Cutlery for twenty-seven years, and thereafter, for Betty Levitt’s Professional Answering Service.

She is survived by her friends and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Ugo DeBeni; and an infant sister, Gemma.

Friends are invited to a memorial mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday (May 26, 2021) at 10am at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels.  Rev. David Tourville, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
