Eugene Everts
Franklinville- Eugene Everts of Franklinville passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Absolut Care of Allegany after a six-year illness.
Eugene was born on September 21, 1954, the son of the late Raymond (Barney) and Arlie Hartman Everts. On March 20, 1980, he married the former Penny Smith, who survives.
He attended Pioneer Central School and went on to work in the farming industry for many years. He also worked on building silos and in construction. Eugene enjoyed boxing, motocross, and was a member of the NRA.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Penny; his children, Michael Everts, Kenny Everts, and Christina (Hopkins) Rickman; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn (Everts) Tucker and Linda Everts; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Barney and Arlie; his siblings, Marlene (Everts) Clester Love, Nancy (Everts) Neamon, and Kim Evert; and half-brothers, Richard Schlining and Ovy Schlining.
Currently, there are no formal services scheduled. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
