Born September 15, 1933 in Galeton, PA., he was the son of Myron and Emogene Stiles Williamson.  He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Joyce (Johnson), whom he married on August 16, 1958 in Pleasantville, PA.

Gene enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956, serving during the Korean Conflict.  After his military career, Gene worked for Dresser Rand, retiring in 1998 as the Plant Superintendent.
