Obituary
Olean- Gloria D. Best of 3111 Lot #4 Pennsylvania Ave., passed away Monday (July 4, 2022) at her home, surrounded by her family.
Born March 2, 1948 in Fredricksburg, VA., she was the daughter of the late Edward “Red” and Vivian Stiles Jones.
Gloria worked for many years at the DeSoto Hotel in Allegany and was a longtime member of the Hinsdale American Legion.
She is survived by; her longtime companion, Duane “Alby” DeLong of Olean; four children, William E. (Taunya) Best of Bristol, TN., John M. Best of Hinsdale, Tracy (John) Peters of Friendship, and Paula (Bill) Teuscher of Trinidad, CO; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister Patty Wittman of Fredricksburg, VA., and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by; one son, James S. Best; one brother, Ronald Jones; and one sister, Jackie Beatley.
There will be no services for Gloria at this time.
