Portville- Jeanette A. Gaylor, of Highland Terrace, Portville, passed away Saturday (March 5, 2022).

Born March 15, 1939 in Olean, she was the daughter of the late Sheldon and Winifred Glover Coleman. She married Jerry Gaylor, who predeceased her on December 19, 2002. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son Jerry Gaylor Jr in 2014.

Jeanette was a cook for many years at Spring Hill Diary and then was the office manager for the Portville gravel pit. After retiring, she worked for the Portville Central School district.

She enjoyed garage sales, playing cards, bird watching, and making Sunday breakfast. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are two children, Jeffrey (Dina) Gaylor of Little Genesee and Jacqueline (Rocco) Campanale of Branchburg, NJ; a daughter- in- law, Gail Gaylor of Portville; eight grandchildren, Sheldon Ryan of Alaska, Danielle (Nick) Baldwin of Little Genesee, Chet (Tracie) Gaylor of Portville, Aaron (Steph) Gaylor of North Tonawanda, Misty (Ryan) Shepard of Bradenton, FL; Rocco, Mia, and Dominic Campanale of Branchburg, NJ; seven great-grandchildren, Arianna, McKayla, Dominick, Nadia, Lillyann, Tyler, and Jasmine; three brothers, Richard Coleman of Smethport, PA, Frank Coleman of Eldred, PA, and Raymond Coleman of Portville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and son, she was predeceased by her two brothers, Merle “Pete” Coleman, and Mike Coleman.

There will be no services for Jeanette. Private burial services will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, and at the convenience of the family.
