Shinglehouse, PA- Jeffrey L. Jobe of 2004 Eleven Mile Road, Shinglehouse, PA., passed away Thursday (April 8, 2021) at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA.
Born January 29, 1953 in Olean, he was the son of the late, John C. and Cherrie L. Colville Jobe.
Jeff attended Olean High School and later went to Jamestown Community College. He started his career in the construction field with his uncle in California and then worked in several other states until his retirement.
He was an avid hunter and a longtime fisherman, which began when he was a young boy, fishing with his dad along the banks of the Allegheny River.
Surviving are his children; Justin (Christine) Skok of Cary, N.C; two daughters, Brelynn S. Jobe and Shania A. Jobe both of Shinglehouse, PA; two grandchildren, Kathleen E. and Maria A. Skok; his longtime and loving companion, Sheila Dodd; his siblings, Harry (Cheryl) Jobe of Brandenburg, KY, Linda Shoff of Olean, John (Renee) Jobe of Hinsdale, Steven Jobe of Olean, Judith (George McBride) Miller of Olean, Barbara (Geoffrey) Buckner of Portville, and James Jobe of Olean; one half-brother, Jack (Doris) Jobe of Poquoson, VA; one sister-in-law, Joan Jobe of Worchester, MA; his special aunt, Patty Malloy of Bend, OR; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by; his parents; one brother, William M. Jobe, who passed away March 28, 2020; and one sister-in-law, Miriam Jobe, who passed away, June 9, 2010.
At Jeff’s request, there will be no visitation or services at this time. A celebration of his life will be at a later date, and at the convenience of his family.
