John H Eccles, Jr.

Arcade- John H. Eccles, Jr., of Arcade passed away Wednesday (August 17, 2022) after a short illness.

Born November 8, 1970, he was the son of Donna Eccles and the late John H. Eccles, Sr.

John had worked for T.P.I in Arcade and later as a roofer for Danny Gloss in Olean. In his free time, he loved riding his motorcycle.

In addition to his mom, John is survived by; two daughters, Heather (Chris) Griffith of Cattaraugus and Kala (Jeremy) Beardslee of Warsaw; one sister, Brandi (Kevin) Swain of Pike; five grandchildren, Wyatt, Jack, and Lilianna Griffith of Cattaraugus, Wyatt and Lucas Beardslee of Warsaw; one niece Clarissa Swain of Avon; three nephews, Kyle Swain of Arizonia, Corey and Cole Swain of Pike; one aunt, Jennie Halm and several cousins.  He is also survived by his best friend from childhood, Danny Gloss of Olean, and his beloved dog Colby.

Besides his dad, John was predeceased by a twin sister, Anna Marie Eccles in 2010 and infant twin sisters, Mary Anna and June Marie Eccles in 1968, and his dog, Adrien.

There will be no services for John at this time.  Burial will be at a later date and at the convenience of the family.
