Joyce Ann Weber, loving mother, grandmother, sister & friend

HINSDALE --- Joyce Ann Weber, 74, of Hinsdale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (October 25, 2023) at home, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Lackawanna on October 31, 1948, she was the daughter of Vincent A. Petrinec Sr. and Orlean Jewitt. In Colorado, she married Arthur Weber Jr. Arthur passed away in 2007.

Joyce graduated from Bennett High School in Buffalo. Following graduation, she went on to attend the Doyle Beauty School. In the late sixties, Joyce and Arthur moved to Colorado. She worked for King Soopers as a chef and later for the private school, Kent Denver, as a lunch lady.

She was very artistic and enjoyed crafting and working on her stained-glass creations. Joyce enjoyed four-wheeling with her sister-sister, Sue. Most of all, she liked hanging out with her family and annual vacations to Olean.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Jesse Weber (Scott Briggs), and daughter-in-law, Skye Bowen; grandchildren, Breana, Ashley, and Trinidy Weber, Matthew Leahy, Charlee, and Avery Briggs; brother, Vincent A. Petrinec, Jr.; a nephew, Lucas (Natalie) Petrinec and family; nieces, Alicia (Matt) Gross and Molly Foster and family; great niece Vanessa Petrinec, cousins, Pam and Keith Pitman and family; 98-year-old father-in-law, Arthur Charles Weber, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Carol (Phil) Lewis and Joan (Joe) Campbell and family; brothers-in-law, John Weber (nephew John-John), Ed Weber, and Joe (Sue) Weber and family; and sister-in-law, Sue Petrinec, whom she loving called sister-sister; her best friends, Cindy, Karen, Tammy, and families; and all her other friends too numerous to name individually.

She was predeceased by her parents and dearly loved husband, Arthur Jr.; son, Arthur III; brother, Donald Hutchinson; nephew, Vincent A Petrinec III, and mother-in-law, Lenora Weber.

At Joyce’s request, no formal services will be held. Her family will receive friends to help celebrate her life at the family home on Redding Rd, Hinsdale, from today until Halloween (October 31, 2023).

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
