Portville- Judith K. Warner of Lillibridge Road, Portville, passed away on Saturday (October 1, 2022) at the Olean General Hospital, after a brief illness with her family by her side.
Born September 10, 1940 in Olean, Judy was the daughter of the late Virgil and Cora Chalker. She was a 1958 graduate of Portville Central School and married her high school sweetheart, Ronald Warner, that same year. Judy was a resident of Lillibridge Road in Portville her entire life.
She was devoted homemaker and mother. For many summers, she cleaned the Portville Free Library with several of her dearest friends.
Judy was an avid sports fan but love her Portville Panthers and Buffalo Bills most of all. If you knew Judy, you knew not to drop in for a visit on Sundays during football season! She loved her flower gardens, walking the hills behind her house, and sitting on her back porch, along with making fudge for her loved ones. Judy also looked forward to her annual trip to the Amish country in Ohio with her son and daughter-in-law. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband of 64 years, her children, Gregg (Cinda) Warner of Allegany, Joel (Laurie) Warner of Portville, Coralie (Ron) McMahon of Portville, and her sister, Suellen (Jim) Clancy. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Aubrey (Ryan) Rockefeller of Little Genesee, Cole (Hannah) Warner of Portville, Jeff (Molly) McMahon of Portville, and Kellie (Nick) Ricci of Rhode Island. She was also a great-grandmother to Corbin, Callie, and Cade Rockefeller, Harper and Lewis Warner, Madigan and Quincy McMahon, and Izzy Ricci. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Linda Shea and Virgil “Corky” Chalker.
There will be no visitation. Private graveside services for Judy will be “on the Lillilbridge side” in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville and at the convenience of the family.
