Justin Daniel Zapel, loving father, son, and brother

Olean- Justin Daniel Zapel, 34, of Olean, passed away peacefully Friday, December 6, 2024, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, surrounded by his loving family, following a lengthy illness.

Justin was born in Daytona Beach, Florida., he was the son of Len and Cenyth Gardner Zapel.

Justin loved playing Euchre during the holidays with his family. He was a handyman; he loved to build things and work with his hands.

Justin is survived by his beautiful daughter, Lillian Zapel of Olean; his mother, Cindy Zapel; two brothers, Steven Zapel and Timothy (Amanda) Zapel; two sisters, Danielle Mullins and Amber (Jeff) Hunt, all of Buffalo; seven nieces and nephews; and his wife.

He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, William and Frances Gardner of Olean.

At Justin’s request, there will be no visitation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
