Kathleen Suttrich

OLEAN --- Kathleen Suttrich, age 71, with her family by her side at OGH, passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Kathy was born on August 28, 1951, in Patterson, NJ.  She was the daughter of Charles & Gloria Ann (Bickford) Suttrich.

She was a graduate of Bradford High and later went on to further her education at Jamestown Community College concentrating on Psychology Counseling and Addiction. Kathy then spent many years being an advocate and volunteer with the NYS domestic violence and crisis centers throughout western NY along with being the manager at the sugar creek stores in Olean, NY, retiring in 2017.

For the past 38 years Kathy was very passionate about helping others in her world of sobriety, in which she will be greatly remembered by many from "around the tables".

Kathy will be deeply missed by her son Christopher (Kelly Fish) Suttrich, Olean, NY , her daughter Yvonne Suttrich, Bradford, PA, her sister Debbie Suttrich, Bradford, PA, one grandson, Justin Suttrich, Bradford, PA and two step- grandsons, Hunter Martin and Ben Fish, both of Olean, NY.

She was predeceased by her long time companion of 45 years, Walter Liwa, her parents, one sister Barbara, her son Anthony Suttrich and her nephew Eric Suttrich.

At Kathy's requests there will be no services, and there will be a celebration of her life at a later date.

Memorials can be made to a charity of the donors choice.
