Keith Wingard -- loving uncle

ALLEGANY --- Keith Wingard, passed away Sunday (February 4, 2024) after a short illness at the Absolut of Allegany. Keith was born in Bradford, PA on September 8, 1938, he was the son of the late Ernest and Julia Redene Wingard. He married the former Doris Mae Ackley, who predeceased him August 7, 2000.

Keith graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelors degree in Business. He owned and managed numerous properties. He was a Navy Veteran, working in intelligence. Keith was a huge sports fan, following Penn State, Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies. He enjoyed taking his nephew, David, to many games.

Keith is survived by his nephew and wife, David & Sophia Wingard; his niece, Christie DeLauney; and great nephew and wife Nicholas & Lourdes DeLauney.

He was predeceased by his parents, Ernest and Julia; his wife, Doris; and siblings, Roger, Tom and Shirley.

Friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean, on Wednesday, from 12-1 pm with a funeral service starting at 1pm in the funeral home, with Rev. Anthony Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Allegany Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded by the Allegany American Legion.

Memorials can he made to the Veterans Association.
