Obituary

Olean- Kenneth N. Jandrew of 3383 Pennsylvania Road, Olean, passed away Saturday (June 4, 2022) at the Olean General Hospital.

Born September 17, 1935, in Malone, he was the son of Leo and Jenny Dupree Jandrew.  He first married Edna Mae Ramsey who predeceased him 1993.  On December 5, 1997, he married Marjorie Miller, who survives.

At the age of 17, Ken joined the United States Army and served during the Korean War.  While enlisted, he served as a Paratrooper and with the Military Police.

He worked for Burns Security in Buffalo, West Valley Nuclear Security, and retired from Ontario Knife Factory in Franklinville.

In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by; his children, Kenneth Jandrew, Michele (Byron) Choney, Michael (Deanna) Jandrew, and Aaron Staker; three stepchildren, Teresa (Kenneth) Lee, Betty Andress, and Richard Edwards; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law.

Besides his first wife, he was predeceased by; one son, Leo Jandrew and two brothers, James Jandrew and Sonny Jandrew.

There will be no services for Ken at this time.  Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
