Marjorie Mae Kennerknecht

Marjorie Mae Kennerknecht of Aston Gardens, Coral Springs, Florida passed away Saturday, May 28, 2023. 

Born August 13, 1929, in Olean, she was the daughter of Alfred and Maude Lindermoth.   Marjorie married David Kennerknecht in the fall of 1951 in Niagara Falls. She raised 3 boys while staying very close to her sisters and all her nieces and nephews including her husband’s family.  She was the last of her family of brothers and sisters.  She had a full life and continued to work part time right up to her early seventies for a doctor in Bonita Springs, Florida where she and her husband had retired. Marjorie had a can-do attitude with lots of energy to go the distance, almost to the last year and half of her life.

Marjorie was predeceased by; her parents, Maude and Alfred Lindermoth; brothers, Arthur and Alfred; and sisters Mary, Irene and Patricia. She is survived by; her sons, Wayne, (Gail), Terry, (Holly) and Robert Kennerknecht; her grandchildren, Justin (Michelle) and Lindsey Kennerknecht, Tamara (William) Regis, Robert Jr. (Trista) and David Kennerknecht; great grandchildren, Jeremy, Nicholas, Connor, Ryan Regis, RJ, Garett, Memphis, Mason, Belladonna, Renesmae, Melynie and Alice Kennerknecht; and great-great grandson, William Regis.      

Friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, 1303 E. State Street, Olean on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 10:30 to 11:00 am with a funeral service held immediately thereafter.  Burial to follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Online condolences can be expressed at www.guentherfh.com.
