Michael J. Blazejewski, Jr. - He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him

OLEAN - Michael J. Blazejewski, Jr. of Olean passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Olean General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Michael was born in Olean on July 26, 1950, the son of Michael, Sr. and Ella Richardson Blazejewski.  On September 5, 1998, he married Paulette Prescott.

A 1968 graduate of Olean High School, he earned a BS in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University in 1973.   Michael worked as a Ceramic Engineer for AVX in Olean.   He loved golfing, bowling, fishing, and was a guitarist in a band.

Michael is survived by his wife, Paulette; four children, Jason Blazejewski, Jodi Luhn, Jaimee Blazejewski, Justin Blazejewski; grandchildren, Jadon Blazejewski, JJ Luhn, Julia Luhn, Johnny Luhn, and Gabriella Vohn Stein; and two sisters, Cheryl Jennings and Debra Smith.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Michael and Ella.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
