Olean- Patricia A. Schlosser, of 2667 McCann Hollow Road, Olean, passed away Sunday (June 7, 2020) at the Absolut of Allegany.

Born July 30, 1939 in Canton, PA., she was the daughter of the late, Bernard J. and Arlouine M. Cooley Dunn. On October 3, 1959 at St. Mary of the Angels Church in Olean, she married John C. Schlosser, who survives.

Pat was a graduate of Olean High School. She worked as a nurse for St. Elizabeth Motherhouse and then for thirty years for Dr. Bailey, until her retirement. Pat was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Angels parish and past President of the Olean Volunteer Fire Department auxiliary. Pat enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and visiting with her friends. Above all, she was a devoted mom to raising her children.

In addition to her husband of 61 Years, she is survived by five children; Pamela (Richard) Earl of Olean, Sarah (David) Beers of Brockport, Matthew (Kim) Schlosser of Connecticut, Christopher (Janine Moses) Schlosser of Hinsdale, and Patrick (Lauren) Schlosser of West Seneca; one daughter-in-law Mary Schlosser of Allegany; her grandchildren; Meghan Dandrea, Luke Earl, Anthony (Katie) Schlosser, Katlyn (Evan) O’Brien, Nicholas Beers, Hailey Beers, Samantha (Dave) Perry, Patricia Schlosser, Brianna Schlosser, and Ryan Schlosser; and four great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Michael Schlosser.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday (June 12, 2020) at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
