Patrick Rowan Sherwin loving son, father, brother & uncle

Olean- Patrick R. Sherwin, of Pit Lane Road, passed away Friday (February 2, 2024) at the Hart Comfort House in Wellsville after a long illness.

Pat was born in Olean on April 3, 1967, he was the son of John Michael Sherwin and the late Judith Whipple Sherwin.

Pat attended Portville Central School and after moving to Florida, graduated from Cooper City High School in Cooper City, Florida.

Pat worked for the paving company, Hard Drives in South Florida for many years, before coming back to Olean. He loved sports and played baseball and football during his high school years. Pat was also an avid fisherman, having good luck in some of the local streams and rivers.

Pat is survived by his father, John; his son, John M. (Yeoul) Sherwin; three brothers, Michael (Marie) Sherwin, Daniel Sherwin and Peter (Patrice) Sherwin; nieces and nephews, Michele (Joseph) Taylor-Rish, Peter A. Sherwin Jr., Nicholas C. (Marissa) Sherwin, Olivia R. (Raymond) Satterfield and Sophia P. Sherwin; and many cousins.

He was predeceased by his mother, Judith.

Services for Pat, will be private and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
