Paul B. Foster, loving brother and uncle

Olean- Paul B. Foster, of Haskell Rd, passed away at Buffalo General Hospital on Monday, April 29, 2024, after a long illness.

Paul was born in Olean on June 27, 1966, he was the son of the late James and Sylvia Scott Foster.

Paul gradated from Portville Central School in 1984, and attended St. Bonaventure University and JCC.  He worked as a cook for Springhill Dairy, Jan’s and Red’s and Trudy’s.

He was a pitcher on his high school baseball team, where his love for baseball led him to become a diehard Yankee’s fan. Paul also enjoyed St. Bonaventure basketball, and he loved to ride his bike and to go fishing.

Paul is survived by his brothers, David Foster of Cuba, Steve (Deanna) Foster, and Doug Foster, both of Olean; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved cats.

He was predeceased by his parents, James and Sylvia; and a brother, Scott Foster.

Friends and family will be received from 10am -12pm Friday (May 3, 2024) at Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 East State St. Olean. Funeral services will begin at 12pm in the funeral home, with Alan Yates officiating. Burial will follow in Allegany Cemetery, Allegany.
