Penny Siebert, loving mother, and grandmother
Shinglehouse, PA- Penny Siebert, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at her home.
Penny was born on April 6, 1966, in Olean, NY, and lived most of her life in Shinglehouse, PA. She was the daughter of Beatrice Marie Siebert.
Penny held various jobs throughout her life, primarily in roles where she could care for and attend to others. She worked as a bartender, waitress, and, most notably, as a Personal Care Aide (PCA), a role she cherished because of her love for helping people.
She was truly an animal lover and had a special fondness for dogs. If Bob had allowed it, she would have taken in as many as she could. Some of her favorites were Buffy, Duke, Bailee, Dazy, Buddy, and Bella.
The highlights of Penny's life were her children and granddaughter. She absolutely loved her children—Brian Siebert, whom she loved "more than all the wheelbarrows in the world," and Brianna Siebert, whom she loved "all the way to God." She deeply appreciated her kids and was grateful for everything they did for her. Her granddaughter, Blakely Mae, held the most important spot in her heart. A very special person in her life was Anne Siebert, who she said was "the best daughter-in-law I could ask for."
She was predeceased by her brothers, Skip Siebert, Kenneth Siebert, Craig Siebert, and Richard Siebert; her sister, Sandra Kasprowicz; her niece, Heather Siebert Baker; her very special sister-in-law, Cindy Karr Siebert; and her long-time companion, Robert E. Frair, who passed in 2022. Bob was her rock, always there for her.
A private celebration of Penny's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends can gather to remember and honor her in a way that reflects the joy and love she brought to the world. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Teacher's Pet Rescue in Coudersport, PA, a cause close to Penny's heart. Donations can be made by visiting Teacher's Pet Rescue on Petfinder or by contacting them directly at teacherspetrescue@yahoo.com.
Penny’s love for her family and friends was unmatched, and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created will remain with us always.
