Hinsdale- Regina M. Redden, formerly of 3089 Route 16N, Hinsdale, passed away Tuesday (November 8, 2022) at the Pines Health and Rehabilitation in Olean.
Born April 26, 1930, in Darien, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Mildred Timm Myers. On May 23, 1953, in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Darien Center, she married Eugene Redden, who predeceased her on May 2, 2007.
Regina worked for 23 years for JC Penney as a sales associate. She was a former parishioner of St. Helen’s Roman Catholic Church in Hinsdale and then attended St. John’s Church in Olean. Regina loved gardening and being a stay-at-home mom. After retirement, she enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She is survived by; five children, Michael (Charlene) Redden of Olean, Robert (Kim) Redden of Rochester, David (Pam) Redden of Allegany, John (Elaine) Redden of Rochester, and Mary (Jerry) Volz of Olean; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one sister Sandra (Bill) Wolfley of Alexander; one brother-in-law Bradley Stubinger; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by; one brother, Robert (Inez) Myers and one sister, Sally Stubinger.
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday (November 11, 2022) at 10am at St. John’s Church, 931 N. Union Street, Olean. Burial will follow in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
