Olean- Richard L. Oliphant, Jr., of Garden Ave., passed away Thursday (June 2, 2022) at the Buffalo General Hospital, after a lengthy illness.

Born April 27, 1965, in Salt Lake City, Utah, he was the son of the late, Richard and June Moxley Oliphant, Sr. He married Etta Benson, who predeceased him.

Richard worked for several businesses in Salt Lake City before moving to this area. He was a member of the N.R.A. and enjoyed working on vehicles. He will be remembered for his selfless acts and his catch phrase, REEEALLY.

He is survived by; his daughter Bailee (Miguel) Oliphant-Rodriguez of Olean; girlfriend, Victoria Blanchard of Olean; and his cats, Sunny Bunny, Silly Willy, Sweet Girl, and MuMu.

There will be no public services for Richard.
