Robert W. Becker, Jr

Portville- Robert W. “Runious” Becker, Jr., of Butternut Brook Road, Portville, passed away Thursday (August 11, 2022) at his home, after a brief illness.

Born May 31, 1965, in Stamford, Conn., he was the son of Robert W. and Barbara Moore Becker.

Robert was a 1984 graduate of Portville Central School and has been employed for Bush Industries in Jamestown for the past 35 years.

Runious enjoyed watching football and NASCAR. He especially loved woodworking, taking care of his house, doing yardwork, and his spending time with his fury friends.

He is survived by; his mom; three siblings, Daniel (Dawnett) Becker of Florida, Craig Becker of Salamanca, and Cindy (Scott) Hatch of Cuba; his beloved work family; and several nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

He was predeceased by; his dad and one brother, Gerald T. “Jerry” Becker.

Friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 51 S. Main Street, Portville on Tuesday (August 16, 2022) from 11am-1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Portville.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Cattaraugus County SPCA, 2944 Route 16, Olean.
