Sandra J. Baldwin

Bolivar- Sandra J. Baldwin, 82, of 7907 Refinery Road, Bolivar, passed away Sunday (June 13, 2021) after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Born March 20, 1939 in Olean, she was the daughter of the late, Earl and Lora Simmons Anderson. On October 25, 1955, she married, Leon R. Baldwin, who predeceased her on March 14, 1993.

Sandra worked at the former Hills Department Store and for Bolivar Central School.  She enjoyed playing bingo and slot machines.  She also loved spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Cocoa.

Surviving is; four daughters, Linda (Kevin) Baldwin Clough of Florida, Rebecca (Gerald “Leakey” Leidenfrost) Baldwin of Portville, Judy (Barry) Baldwin Shaw of Portville, and Tammy (Leon Piloa) Baldwin of Eldred, PA; eighteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her siblings; Robert Anderson of California, Beverly Plowman of Smethport, PA, and Marlene Chambers of Shinglehouse, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was predeceased by; one daughter, Janet Kinnicutt; two grandchildren, Nicolas Burdick and Stacey Jackson; one brother, Chuck Anderson, Sr; one sister, Joan Cornelius; one nephew, Chuckie Anderson, Jr; and her step-mom, Mary Anderson.

Friends will be received at the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State Street, Olean on Friday (June 18, 2021) from 10am – noon, with funeral services beginning at noon. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Olean.
