Sharon L. McGrath

West Clarksville- Sharon L. McGrath of 8742 County Road 40, passed away Wednesday (October 19, 2022) at the Olean General Hospital, after a brief illness.

Born February 19, 1956, in Olean, she was the daughter of Donald J. and Shirley A. Gage Lyle. 

She received her associates degree from Alfred State and worked for many years at the Olean General Hospital as a medical lab technician.

Sharon enjoyed crafting, scrapbooking, and crocheting.  She also enjoyed spending time with her dog and two cats.

She is survived by; one sister, Bonnie (Stephen) Harenda of Selinsgrove, PA; one niece, Dana (Michael) Leworthy; one nephew, Alexander (Ashtin) Harenda; two grandnieces and one grandnephew. She is also survived by dear friends, especially Tiffany and Joe Claus.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Per Sharon’s request, there will be no services.

Memorials, if desired, may be made to the Olean Food Pantry, 8 Leo Moss Drive, Olean.
