Susan J. Krist

Olean- Susan J Krist, of Olean, passed away after a lengthy illness on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Olean General Hospital.

Sue was born in Cuba, on August 20, 1955. She was the daughter of the late Harold R. Sr.  and Ruth L. Noble Kreamer

Sue was a graduate of Portville Central School. After being a stay-at-home mom, she entered the workforce cleaning houses. She loved and cared for her clients. She ended her career working at Kohls, where she retired from. Sue had a passion for gardening, preserving her harvest, cooking for her loved ones, and her dog Roxie whom she loved dearly. She also volunteered at the Cattaraugus County SPCA.

Sue is survived by her loving companion, Mike Bird, her children, Ginger (Toby) Witzigman of Hinsdale, John (Mindy) Krist of Portville, her grandchildren Gavin Krist of Ellicottville, and Wren Van Dixon of Hinsdale.

At her request, there will be no memorial or visitations. Memorials if desired can be made to the SPCA of your choice.
