Bradford- Thomas J. Gilmour, 55, of Bradford, passed away Friday (October 6, 2023) at Olean General Hospital.
He was born in Orange, CA, on January 8, 1968. He was the son of Roger Theriault and Margaret Gilmour Wilt. On December 15, 2000, in Big Bear, CA, he married the former Connie Wilt.
Tom worked as a truck driver most of his life, working for MSL Oil and Gas, for over seven years. He then went on to do security at ARG before going on disability. Even as he was facing unimaginable hardships, he never lost his infectious joy, cheer and positivity.
His first love, after his family, was his Jeep Duece and A Half. Other interests were hunting, fishing, collecting guns, shooting with the kids, off-roading and watching his western movies. Tom never knew a stranger. He would have stories for days and loved talking to everyone. He absolutely loved talking about food and going over recipes with family and friends.
Tom is survived by his mother, Margaret; his wife, Connie; four children, Stacy (John) McClintick, Curtis (Jennifer) Stewart, Timothy (Katie) Stewart and Brianna Stewart; six siblings, Christine Wilt, Richie (Chevonne) Bartlett, Jeff Theriault, Elsie Barthalow, Jodi Tidrick and Scott Theriault; seven grandchildren, Shawn Miller, Aimee McClintick, Mikayla Stewart, Hunter Stewart, Michael Gatlin, Caleb Stewart and Cadence Stewart.
He was predeceased by his dad, Richard Wilt; his father, Roger Theriault; siblings, Vern Theriault, John Theriault and Kathy Brown.
Friends will be received at the First Baptist Church 71 Congress St. Bradford Wednesday (October 11, 2023) at 10 a.m. Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Childs officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
