Thomas B. Turock, loving father

Thomas B. Turock, of Olean, passed away unexpectedly at Olean General Hospital on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Tom was born in Olean, on July 8, 1957, he was the son of the late Darold and Glenadore (Martin) Turock. On September 4, 1976 at St. John’s Church in Olean, late married the former Vicki A. Collins, who predeceased him on May 24, 2021.

Tom was a graduate of Olean High School. He served in the United States Army from 1976 to 1986. Then graduated from Jamestown Community College with an Associate’s Degree, and worked for Olean Medical Group as a courier.

He was an avid dart player, playing in numerous leagues, the Olean Steel Tip league and the online Mojo Soft Tip leagues. Also, a die-hard Bills fan, a true Billiever. Tom loved spending time with his family at the West End View, their Family Camp.

Tom is survived by 4 children, Stacy Hunt, Threasa Mowery, Teri Kosinski and Adam Turock; and 4 siblings.

He was predeceased by his wife, Vicki; and his parents, Darold and Glenadore; and 1 sibling.

There will be a celebration of Tom’s life at the Pulaski Club Olean NY on Saturday September 7, 2024 starting @ 1pm.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Guenther Funeral Home, Inc., 1303 E. State St, Olean.
