Veronica “Ronnie” Schreck loving mom, grandma and great-grandma

Cuba- Veronica “Ronnie” Schreck, of Cuba, passed away at home, Saturday (July 6, 2024) after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family.

Ronnie was born in Olean, on January 31, 1948, to the late Peter and Julia Garmack. On August 18, 1992, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married Terry Schreck, who predeceased her on April 21, 2022.

Graduating from Olean High School, Ronnie then went to OBI to further her education. She went on to work for Dresser Rand and the Rehabilitation Center, until her retirement. Ronnie loved to crochet, read, travel to many scenic destinations and gamble.

Surviving are her children, Kimberly (Troy Brenneman) Pauly, Penny (Chris) Chapman and Chantel (David) Geels; daughter-in-law, Tammy Schreck; grandchildren, Chelsea Pauly, Skyla (Corey Kane) Chapman, Dylan Chapman, Dakota (Alexa Blaskowsky) Miranda, James (Brittany) Miranda, Ravyn (Jake) Miller, Baker Schreck and Lola Schreck; great-grandchildren, River Miranda and Bradley Miller; siblings, Betty Cussins and Guy Schreck.

Ronnie was predeceased by, her husband, Terry; her parents, Peter and Julia; step-son, Christopher Schreck; and a sister, Lucy Straight.

Friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday July 12, 2024 at 10 am, St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany. A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held, October 5, 2024 at 3pm at Mickey’s Restaurant 629 E. State St, Olean.
