Obituary
Olean- Wayne A. Young, a beloved husband, and dad, entered eternal life on Wednesday (May 3, 2023) at the Buffalo General Hospital.
Born January 11, 1950, in St. Mary’s PA., he was the son of the late Wilfred and Leona Starner Young. On January 15, 1977, he married Nancy Botera, who survives.
Wayne worked as a meat cutter in the area for many years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed working on cars and attending car shows in his free time.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, Wayne is survived by two children, Bobbi Jo (Robert) Kent of Hinsdale and Guy S. (Niover) Prosper of South Carolina; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by; one brother and one sister.
Private services for Wayne will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery in Emporium, PA.
